Wakely & Wheeler was a London silversmith firm whose origins go back to 1791. In 1884 the firm consisted of James Wakely and Frank Wheeler, becoming Wakely & Wheeler in 1909. Although a London-based manufacturer, numerous pieces bear marks that indicate they were assayed, and probably produced, in Dublin, Ireland. In 1957 the business was acquired by Padgett & Braham Ltd.
