William Bateman

Peter Bateman was the son of the famous female English silversmith, Hester Bateman. In 1791, Ann Bateman (widow of Peter's former partner and brother, Johnathan) joined Peter's firm. In 1799, Wiliam, Ann's son, joined the firm. In 1805, Ann retired.
