From British Museum: "Draughtsman, engraver and publisher. Nephew of Israel Henriet (q.v.), and founder of the Silvestre dynasty. In Italy c.1640, and perhaps again c.1643/44 and 1653. Established in Paris in 1659; drawing master of the Dauphin from 1673. Mostly made topographical views, some of which he etched himself, and many of which were made after his drawings (and which he published). Plates remained in print long after his death."
