Brothers Jean and Pierre Le Campion, print publishers and sellers originally from Normandy. By 1769 the brothers are established as sellers on the rue du Faubourg-Montmartre. In 1779, P.F Basan sells them the stock from the publishers Le Pere et Avaulez after the death of the widow of Avaulez. They take up the same shop sign as Avaulez - rue Saint-Jacques, a la Ville de Rouen. Joseph Alexandre, son of Jean joins the business around 1787. Jean Le Campion dies in 1790.
