David Stoltz is an American artist whose sculptures often depict fantasy characters and abstract forms rendered in steel, bronze, wood and stained glass. He trained as a graphic artist at the Pratt Institute, which informed his late career exploration of portraiture. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Stoltz worked in Bennington, Vermont, amongst a community of young constructivist sculptors. He later established himself in New York City.
