Zephyr, born Andrew Witten, is an American grffitti artist and writer. In the late 1970s, Zephyr was a member of influential crews such as TR (The Rebels) and RTW (Rolling Thunder Writers). His style was influenced by psychedelic art of the 1960s and illustrators such as Vaughn Bodē and Victor Moscoso. Zephyr was one of a group of street artists in the 1980s who crossed over into the institutional realm after a commitment to producing unlawlful public installations.
