Parisian printmaker, publisher and print seller, active in Paris. Son of François I Chéreau (1680-1729) and Marguerite Caillou (active 1729-1755). Worked with his mother, following his father's death. He married his cousin Geneviève-Marguerite Chéreau (17..-1782). From 1742 to 1755 publishing from his house on the rue Saint-Jacques, under the sign - Au Grand Saint Henri and Aux Deux Piliers d'Or.
