French printmaker and print seller, active in Rouen. Bacheley did not start print making until his 30s after doing some work for Jean-Baptiste Descamps who taught drawing at the Academie de Rouen. He went to Paris to study print making in the workshop of Jacques-Philippe Le Bas for four years before coming back to Rouen. His last signed plate dates from 1781. (IFF. p. 384)
