Publisher and printseller, originally from Normandy, France. Went into business with Charles Le Pere in 1772, on the rue Saint-Jacques in Paris. They purchased the printseller Gilles Rosselin's stock. Avaulez marries Emilie-Louise Boutilliot in 1774, his goods are valued at 12 thousand livres. Le Pere and Avaulez dissolve their business on August 2nd 1777. Avaulez dies on December 6th, 1777. His widow continues the business until April 1779. The stock is sold to Basan in November 1779, who resells it to the brothers Le Campion.
