Fernando Mastrangelo (b. 1978) is a designer, sculptor, and artist who heads Fernando Mastrangelo Studio (FM/S) in Brooklyn, New York. His furniture designs utilize raw materials such as salt, sugar, glass, and cement, mixed with resin. His pieces often reference natural landscapes, and combine organic textures with geometric forms. Born in the United States to Uruguayan parents, he grew up in Monterrey, Mexico, and obtained his B.A. from Cornish College of the Arts in 2002, and his M.F.A. in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004.
