Camilla Eber-Birke
An Austrian fashion designer, Eber-Birke studied with Rosalia Rothansl and Josef Hoffmann at the Kunstgewerbeschule (School of Applied Art) in Vienna. She was a fashion designer in Paris, and exhibited at the Jubilee Exhibition of the Vienna Applied Arts Association in 1924, the Paris International Exposition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts in 1925, and the Vienna International Exhibition for Theater Design in 1924, among others. She worked for the Viennese firms Werkstätten für Spritzdruck (Workshops for Spray Printing) designing screens, and for the Wiener Werkstätte designing textiles. Literature: Werner J.
