Reni Schaschl-Schuster

Reni Schaschl-Schuster studied at the Vienna Kunstgewerbeschule (School of the Applied Art) from 1912–16 under Josef Hoffmann, Oskar Strnad, and Adolf Böhm. She worked for Lendecke’s periodical Die Damenwelt (Womens’ World) and designed ceramics, painted woodwork, Christmas ornaments, glass, textiles, commercial graphics, ivory, lace, and tulle for the Wiener Werkstätte. She participated in exhibitions including the Vienna Modeausstellung (Fashion Exhibition) of 1915, the Vienna Kunstschau (Art Show) of 1920, the Munich Deutsche Gewerbeschau of 1922, the Hague exhibition of 1927–28, and Wiener Frauenkunst exhibitions.
