Rena Dumas studied interior architecture design at the École Nationale Supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d’art in Paris. In 1972, she opened her own office, Rena Dumas Architecture Intérieure. Dumas worked tirelessly on several important projects throughout her career, including the offices of Time Life, several banks, hundreds of Hermès boutiques, interiors for Parisian flagship stores of Yves Saint Laurent and Artemis, and Christie’s in Paris. In 1983, Dumas began designing wood furniture and glass objects.
