Peeter Verbrugghen II
Peeter Verbrugghen II was a sculptor, stone merchant and etcher, active in a family of Flemish artists. In 1674 he traveled to Rome after completing an apprenticeship with his father. Despite earning his mastership in 1680, Peeter remained in his father’s workshop as a collaborator. In 1691 he became Dean of the Guild of St. Luke in Antwerp.
