Rolf and Mette Hay founded Danish furniture company, Hay, in 2002 with the aim to return Scandinavian design to its iconic mid-century status by focusing on simple and accessible contemporary products. Hay launched its first furniture collection at IMM Cologne in 2003. Since that time, the company has worked with emerging and established designers, including Scholten & Baijings, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, and Sebastian Wrong, to create furniture collections, textiles, accessories, and rugs featuring clean graphic forms and fresh approaches to color.
