Shigeo Fukuda
Shigeo Fukuda was a sculptor and graphic artist who was best known for his adoption of optical illusions in his design. Fukuda graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1956 before working as an advertising designer. He developed a unique style which was deeply inspired by the mathematically-inspired work of artist M. C. Escher. Fukuda’s designs often deal with social and cultural concerns, and he is best known for refining complex concepts into compelling images with simple graphics
