Steff Geissbühler
Swiss designer Steff Geissbuhler created a distinctive typographic style in the 1960s when he joined the Geigy Pharmaceutical company as a designer in the publicity department. After starting an independent design firm in Philadelphia, Geissbuhler joined Chermayeff & Geismar Associates as a partner. His designs are characterized by dynamic rythmns incorporating repetition, often sacrificing legibility for a dynamic visual statement.
