Joan Levine
She was an active member of the Artists-Craftsmen of New York, Inc, the donors of a glazed stoneware vase (1959.77.1). This organization was formed in 1958 by combining the New York Society of Ceramic Arts (founded in 1892), and the New York Society of Craftsmen (founded in 1905). By 1961 she was on the Board of Governors as Recording Secretary. In the early 60s she lived at 251 Central Park West, New York, N.Y.
