Glenn Peckman earned his B.F.A. in Painting from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He worked for two years as an apprentice in textile design with Ratti Silk in Como, Italy. Peckman designed numerous fabric collections during a thirteen-year association with Donghia Textiles. Peckman's work is well known for his acute sense of color. His background as an artist as well as his sabbatical trips to Italy, Germany, New York and other parts of the world have been influential in Peckman’s work.
