Florence Nach Taylor
Florence Taylor (née Nach) studied art with Ada Husted Anderson at the Craft Students League, and then enameling with Oppi Untracht at the Brooklyn Museum Art School. Although she initially specialized in enameling, silversmithing, and hand forging, Taylor worked as a commercial photographer for 25 years. She enjoyed designing jewelry and studied silversmithing at School of Technology in Rochester, NY. Later, Taylor had a one-woman show at the Brooklyn Museum and exhibited pieces at Cooper Union. She also taught enameling to the army at Fort Jay.
