Robert Crawford Johnson

Founder of Cube Teapots Co. Ltd., established 1925. Also designer of cube teapot. Son of Joseph Crawford Johnson (1844-1906), who owned a drapery shop in Leicestershire. In 1906 Robert Crawford John opened a business as a furnisher and furniture dealer. Created cubic teapot and registered the design in 1916.
