Angela Cummings attended the Art Academy in Perugia, Italy, and Zeichenakademie in Hanau, West Germany. She started her career in 1967 at Tiffany & Co. After 16 years she and husband, Bruce, a former gemologist at Tiffany’s, opened their own shop, Angela Cummings, Inc. In 1984, she opened her first in-store boutique at Bergdorf Goodman, which led her to open another at Neiman Marcus. In 2003 she was forced to close the business due to financial issues. She continues to design jewelry from her house in Utah.
