Ferdinando Fuga
Born in Florence, Italy in 1699. Trained in sculpture and architecture under Giovanni Battista Foggini in Florence. Also studied architecture in Rome 1717-26. Architect of the papal palaces under Clement XII from 1730. Principal of the Academy of St. Luke, 1752-54. Died, probably in Naples in 1781.
