This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Tiffany and Co. as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.
Tiffany & Co. continued to appeal to a traditional market while introducing new fashions such as the bandeau, an update on the tiara and best worn with bobbed hair.
