This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Tiffany and Co. as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.

It is dated 1930–35. Its medium is diamonds, platinum.

Architectural form even pervaded designs for jewelry in the early 1930s as modern design became more acceptable in fashion and luxury accessories. Tiffany & Co. created this necklace of diamonds in geometric form around 1930–35.

It is credited Lent by Tiffany and Company, Archives, A2000.20.
