This is a Canvas Sling Chair.
This object is not part of the Cooper Hewitt's permanent collection. It was able to spend time at the museum on loan from Friends of the Schindler House as part of The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.
Architect Rudolph Schindler came to California to work for Frank Lloyd Wright. This chair reflects the geometric footprint of his Kings Road House.
It is credited Friends of the Schindler House.
