Sasso Brooch
This is a Brooch. It was designed by Giorgio Vigna. It is dated 2000 and we acquired it in 2016. Its medium is electroformed copper, silver, mixed media, magnets (clasp). It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
Covered with silver granules, this brooch presents a modern interpretation of the ancient metalwork practice of granulation using electroforming to create a lightweight structure.
