Necklace
This is a necklace. It is dated 1973. Its medium is bent silver wire, sheet silver, polished moonstone. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
Skoogfors explored contrasting metal textures and striking copper and brass color combinations using both hot and cold metal connections. Harmonizing form, line, and color, he often made castings to add surface relief with an additional decorative structure superimposed on a geometric base.
