Paper Construction, Winter in White, 2007
This is a Paper construction. It was designed by Robert Sabuda and published by Little Simon. It is dated 2007. Its medium is cut paper, paper. It is a part of the Smithsonian Libraries department.
Robert Sabuda, an American designer and paper engineer, has created delightful pop-up and movable books for children since the late 1980s. He employs diverse mechanisms, notably V-folds and pull tabs, to enable paper forms to magically unfold and lift off the surface of a page. In Winter in White, Sabuda uses a series of intricate, laser-cut, white paper pop-ups to illustrate a poem about winter that includes a snowman, snowflakes, a reindeer, an angel, a figure on a sled, doves, and a Christmas tree.
It is credited Collection of Smithsonian Institution Libraries.
