Model, Mirror Maze

This is a Model. It is dated 2016. Its medium is board, foam core, and mirror paper; installed 2016, copeland park, peckham, london, uk. It is a part of the department.

“Mirror Maze began as a short film with an oval hole at its heart. As the film concluded, the audience walked through the hole and entered a glimmering world. Mirrored pathways terminated in refracting cul-de-sacs or opened onto spectrum-colored vistas. These interruptions evoked the sensation I had of being transported in time, place, and identity by the scent of a cupboard full of lavender.”

It is credited Courtesy of Es Devlin.
