Shield, Vue

This is a Shield. It was designed by Joe Doucet and Vue Shield Investments. It is dated 2020. Its medium is polyethylene terephthalate (pet) plastic and polycarbonate plastic. It is a part of the Exhibitions department.

Created by fashion designer Joe Doucet, the Vue Shield protects against contaminated droplets and splashes. Tinted versions filter out blue light from digital screens and harmful UV rays from the sun. The CDC does not recommend using face shields as a substitute for masks.

It is credited Gift of Joe Doucet and Vue Shield LLC, Cooper Hewitt Responsive Collecting Initiative.
