Valance With Chef De Piece, Panurge dans I'ile des lanternes

This is a Valance with chef de piece. It was printed by Petitpierre & Compe. Nantes. It is dated 1785–90 and we acquired it in 1999. Its medium is cotton and its technique is printed by engraved copper plate. It is a part of the Textiles department.

It is credited Museum purchase from Au Panier Fleuri Fund.
