Print, Flower Still IV

This is a Print. It was created by Scott Hyde. It is dated 1989 and we acquired it in 1990. Its medium is offset lithograph on paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

Scott Hyde (born 1926) is a photographer and printmaker. His signed poster, The Light is Different in California, is already in our collection. This print is a superimposition of three engravings in our collection by Nicolas de Poilly after Monnoyer from Livre de Toutes Sortes de Fleurs. A set of "separations," either lithographic negatives or line prints, was made, which were then transferred to lithographic plates for printing.

This object was donated by Scott Hyde. It is credited Gift of Scott Hyde.
