Letter With Swatches (France)

This is a Letter with swatches. It was made for (as the client) Poache Frères. It is dated 1786 and we acquired it in 1987. Its technique is resist paste printed by block; immersion dyed in indigo to achieve two shades of blue. It is a part of the Textiles department.
