Table Runner (USA), ca. 1905

This is a Table runner. It was designed by Gustav Stickley. It is dated ca. 1905 and we acquired it in 1987. Its medium is linen foundation, linen applique, linen and mercerized cotton embroidery and its technique is plain weave foundation; applique of plain weave and embroidery using stem, satin and bottonhole stitches. It is a part of the Textiles department.

It is credited Museum purchase from Au Panier Fleuri Fund.
