Band

This is a Band. It is dated 17th century and we acquired it in 1939. Its medium is linen and its technique is (a/d) lace of early premade bobbin tape with needlework fillings; two pieces have bobbin ground and two have needle gound. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was bequest of Miss Adele Kneeland. It is credited Bequest of Miss Adele Kneeland through Mrs. Philip Ainsworth Means.
