Sugar Bowl Sugar Bowl
This is a sugar bowl. It was designed by Jean Elysée Puiforcat. It is dated ca. 1928 and we acquired it in 1982. Its medium is silver, walnut. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
By the end of the 1920s, Jean Puiforcat's spherical pots set the stage for this form to dominate domestic design products for a broad market.
It is credited Museum purchase from General Acquisitions Endowment Fund.
