Unfinished Sampler (USA)

This is a Unfinished Sampler. It was possibly by Scuola d'Industrie Italiane. It is dated late 19th–early 20th century and we acquired it in 1980. Its medium is linen and its technique is cutwork with needle filling stitches on plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.
