Sampler (England)

This is a Sampler. It was embroidered by Eliza Page. It is dated 1821 and we acquired it in 1976. Its medium is silk embroidery on wool foundation and its technique is embroidered in counted cross, satin, eye, stem and running stitches on plain weave foundation. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Unknown. It is credited Gift of Anonymous Donor from the Fraser/Martin Collection.
