Sample, Nartaki

This is a Sample. It was designed by Isabel Scott and manufactured by Isabel Scott Fabrics. It is dated 1970–75 and we acquired it in 1975. Its medium is cotton and its technique is continuous supplementary weft in a plain weave foundation free floating on one face or laid in the foundation weave; floats have been cut away by hand leaving a pattern which is denser than the foundation fabric. It is a part of the Textiles department.

Its dimensions are

H x W: 90 x 59.5 cm (35 7/16 x 23 7/16 in.)
