Textile, late 17th–early 18th century

This is a Textile. It is dated late 17th–early 18th century and we acquired it in 1975. Its medium is silk, metallic thread and its technique is 5-harness satin damask with discontinous supplementary weft patterning (brocade) bound in 1/4 twill. It is a part of the Textiles department.
