This is a Band. It is dated 17th century and we acquired it in 1974. Its medium is linen and its technique is withdrawn element work with needle lace (reticella), bobbin lace edging of continuous braid. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mary Carothers and Charles de Limur. It is credited Gift of Mrs. Mary Carothers and Charles de Limur in memory of Ethel Mary de Limur.
