Textile

This is a Textile. It is dated late 17th or early 18th century and we acquired it in 1973. Its medium is silk, metallic thread and its technique is 8-harness satin patterned by floats of foundation weft and discontinuous supplementary weft bound on the front in 1/3 twill. It is a part of the Textiles department.
