At right, inscribed in pencil: "all dummies. Old black clothes of proper forms, stuffed. Wrapped and built out with other black rags of various textures. Small bits of rags similar to each separate costume added - Rose some ribbons; Gallant codpiece, shreds of yellow. Villon, patches of leather; Ythler, bit of patterned material, etc."
