Sample Card, Woven Upholstery for the Chrysler-Plymouth Fury

This is a Sample card. It was designed by Dorothy Wright Liebes and manufactured by Collins & Aikman and made for Chrysler-Plymouth Co.. It is dated 1957 and we acquired it in 1972. Its medium is linen, linen-cellulose triacetate blend, viscose rayon, lurex (cellulose acetate butyrate-laminated aluminum yarn) and its technique is plain woven with single and grouped warps, supplementary weft. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Estate of Dorothy Liebes Morin. It is credited Gift of the Estate of Dorothy Liebes Morin.
