Woven Blind (USA)

This is a Woven blind. It was designed by Dorothy Wright Liebes and woven by Ralph Higbee. It is dated 1952–54 and we acquired it in 1972. Its medium is cotton, viscose rayon, silk, cellulose acetate butyrate-laminated aluminum yarn, wood and its technique is hand woven plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Estate of Dorothy Liebes Morin. It is credited Gift of the Estate of Dorothy Liebes Morin.
