This is a Fragments. It is dated 17th century and we acquired it in 1972. Its medium is silk and metal and its technique is combination of two stuctures: 4 harness irregular twill [foundation] plus 3/1 twill \ [supplementary facing and pattern]. foundation fabric has an integrated set of supplementary wefts free floating on the front to pattern. the supplementary fabric has . It is a part of the Textiles department.
