Woman's Skirt (Guatemala)

This is a Woman's skirt. It is dated 1925–50 and we acquired it in 1969. Its medium is cotton and its technique is warp and weft resist dyed before weaving (jaspe); plain weave. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Camilla Cooper Hewitt. It is credited Gift of Camila Hewitt in memory of her grandfather, Edward Ringwood Hewitt.
