Print, Plate 17 from Theatrum instrumentorum et machinarum by Jacques Besson

This is a Print. It was print maker: René Boyvin and after Jacques Androuet Du Cerceau the Elder. It is dated after 1578 and we acquired it in 1963. Its medium is engraving on off-white laid paper; brush and watercolor, gouache and gold paint, cut out and laid down on tan wove paper. It is a part of the Drawings, Prints, and Graphic Design department.

It is credited Museum purchase through gift of the Advisory Council.
