Panel (Peru)

This is a Panel. It is dated 1200 (crossed out and marked 'Wari Coast') and we acquired it in 1962. Its medium is cotton and wool and its technique is warp-faced plain weave with discontinuous supplementary wefts; interlacing on weft-face plain weave on group warps; branching of grouped warps; sides intact; ends with warp selvage. It is a part of the Textiles department.
